TSC Legia prediction 2024-10-24

TSC vs Legia prediction: EUROPE: Conference League – League phase betting tips on match 2024-10-23 19:00.
[p]After failing to win any of their first five home European ties (D1, L4), TSC will be hoping it’s sixth time lucky this Thursday when they host Legia Warsaw in the UEFA Conference League. However, with no victory since their first fixture in continental competition during the 2020/21 Europa League (D2, L10 since), it could well be a tall order for Jovan Damjanović’s side.[/p]

[p]Dumped out of the Europa League 8-1 on aggregate by Maccabi Tel Aviv in late August, the Serbian’s began their Conference League campaign with a 1-0 defeat to Astana at the start of this month. And despite winning three consecutive domestic matches either side of that European defeat, they were beaten again on Friday evening and are back in the bottom half of the Super Liga.[/p]

[p]The opposite was the case for Legia Warsaw, who ended a run of four matches without a win (D2, L2) in the Ekstraklasa by beating Lechia Gdańsk 2-0 on Friday. And unlike their opponents in this game, the Militarians picked up three points on matchday one in the Conference League against Real Betis when they triumphed over Spanish opposition for only the second time in 11 matches (D3, L6).[/p]

[p]Legia will look to back up that huge upset victory in a first-ever H2H with Serbian opposition. They’re boosted by a 100% away record in the Conference League this season which saw them advance through the final three qualifying rounds, but translating that success into the main draw of UEFA competition hasn’t been easy, with their last 13 such outings producing just two wins (L11)![/p]

[p]Players to watch: Although Petar Stanić is yet to make an impact in a European game this season, the midfielder has been in strong form in the Super Liga with five direct goal contributions (G3, A2) in as many league games. All three of Ryoya Morishita’s goals for Legia this season have come in away games with the latest in Friday’s win over Lechia. He was also on fire during the Conference League qualifiers, directly contributing to six goals in as many matches (G1, A5)![/p]

[p]Hot stat: Legia have not scored before half-time in their last five away matches.[/p]
