Twente Royale Union SG prediction 2024-11-28

Twente vs Royale Union SG prediction: EUROPE: Europa League – League phase betting tips on match 2024-11-27 20:00.
[p]After four rounds of this season’s UEFA Europa League (UEL), the two highest placed winless sides – Twente and Royale Union SG – meet on Thursday evening. The Dutch side looked set to finally get a victory in their last game but they couldn’t hold on to their 2-0 lead against Nice (D 2-2), with the most concerning aspect being that they conceded the equaliser despite having a man advantage at the time.[/p]

[p]As a result, they come into this gameweek with only three points on the board and a point behind the knockout play-off positions. However, three of the Tukkers’ four matches in the tournament so far were against sides with UEFA coefficient rankings from 12th to 45th, whereas their four remaining fixtures see them take on three sides from 60th to 111th, so  extending their five-match unbeaten run across all competitions seems a distinct possibility (W3, D2).[/p]

[p]Royale Union are also unbeaten in their last five matches (W2, D3), but are a point adrift of Twente in the UEL ahead of this game. Goalscoring has been their major issue in the competition with only the bottom three sides in the table failing to score more than the Belgians, who have found the net only twice across their four games.[/p]

[p]At the back Les Unionistes are far more solid however, with only eight of the 36 teams in the league phase conceding fewer ahead of the round, while they also showed character in their last UEL fixture to claim a point against Roma despite going a goal down. But getting that elusive win is proving a challenge in this campaign and with only one victory from their last eight away games in this competition (D3, L4), picking up three points here would be something of a surprise.[/p]

[p]Players to watch: Midfielder Youri Regeer has provided the first assist of the game in two of Twente’s UEL fixtures this season with both games finishing as draws. Argentinian Kevin Mac Allister has played in three of Royale Union’s four matches in the competition so far and across those appearances has either scored, been booked or received a red card![/p]

[p]Hot stat: Royale Union have not taken the lead in any of their last five UEL away games (D1, L4).[/p]
