Valencia vs Mallorca prediction: SPAIN: LaLiga betting tips on match 2025-03-29 16:30.
[p]Valencia have undergone a dramatic transformation under Carlos Corberán, who since beginning his reign in January has lifted Los Ches out of the relegation places. Since losing his opening game at Real Madrid, the Valencia boss has gone on to lose just two of his next ten league affairs (W4, D4), with all four victories being earned at home. Despite those efforts, their cushion to the drop zone was still just one point at the start of this matchday. [/p]
[p]Their survival hopes have been boosted by the fact their Spanish coach has turned the Mestalla into something of a fortress, with wins over top-half clubs Celta Vigo (2-1) and Real Sociedad (1-0). That’s pertinent here as they face another top-half side in Mallorca looking to avenge a 2-1 loss in November’s reverse fixture, although a failure to win any of the last three home H2Hs suggests that may be a tall order (D2, L1). [/p]
[p]Mallorca are on a six-game unbeaten run (W2, D4) that was tailended by a 2-1 victory over Espanyol to keep their top-six hopes alive. But away from home, they’re now six games without a win across all competitions (D2, L4) following 1-1 La Liga draws at Sevilla and Athletic Bilbao, and with those their only two goals during that six-game sequence they desperately need to find their scoring impetus soon.  [/p]
[p]Mallorca have been suffering at the other end of the pitch too, having not kept a clean sheet in their last 11 competitive outings – their worst such streak since April 2022. At least their six straight La Liga games at home or away without being shut out themselves set them up well here, although they have failed to score in three of their last five visits to Valencia. [/p]
[p]Players to watch: Valencia’s Diego López struck goals in three successive La Liga games for the first time in his career and was rewarded with the U23 Player of the Month award for March. Vedat Muriqi registered a hat-trick for Kosovo during the international break. He also scored from the spot in Mallorca’s latest win, just as he did the last time Mallorca won at this venue. [/p]
[p]Hot streak: Mallorca haven’t scored before half-time in their last six away outings across all competitions. [/p]
