Werder Bremen B. Monchengladbach prediction 2025-03-15

Werder Bremen vs B. Monchengladbach prediction: GERMANY: Bundesliga betting tips on match 2025-03-14 14:30.
[p]Werder Bremen’s five-game losing streak in all competitions came to a surprising end last weekend as they won 2-0 at reigning Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen to move closer to the top half of the table. Now Ole Werner’s men will be looking to earn back-to-back wins for the first time this year, which would also mean avoiding three straight home defeats for the first time since May 2023 following recent losses at the Weserstadion to Hoffenheim and then Wolfsburg. [/p]

[p]One of the teams Bremen will be looking to catch in the coming weeks is ninth-placed Borussia Mönchengladbach, who currently sit four points above their hosts. Closing that gap may be easier said than done though, as Bremen have only won one of their last 16 Bundesliga games against Gladbach (D6, L9). Interestingly, three of the last four H2Hs ended 2-2.[/p]

[p]Gladbach’s form has been up and down, with two wins, a draw and two losses in their last five games. Such inconsistency is hampering their chances of qualifying for Europe for the first time in five years, although they have largely struggled at home in 2025, winning just one of those five matches in that time (W1, D1, L3), the last of which was a defeat to Mainz (L 3-1). [/p]

[p]Gerard Seoane’s men might therefore be happy to be playing away from Borussia-Park this Saturday, with the Foals one win from a fourth successive Bundesliga victory on the road in the same season for the first time in 30 years! A fast start would be ideal in achieving that objective, and Gladbach have excelled on that front on their travels recently, going 1-0 up inside ten minutes in both of their last two such games. [/p]

[p]Key battle: Keke Topp came off the bench in the dying moments at Leverkusen to set up Werder’s second goal, while the 20-year-old’s only-ever Bundesliga strike came at Gladbach in November, but was a mere consolation in a 4-1 defeat. Topp might find himself up against Stefan Lainer here, with the defender finding the net in last Friday’s loss against Mainz – his other four goals in the German top flight have all been in away victories (W4). [/p]

[p]Hot streak: Each of the last six meetings between Werder and Gladbach have featured at least four goals. [/p]
