Werder Bremen Heidenheim prediction 2025-01-15

Werder Bremen vs Heidenheim prediction: GERMANY: Bundesliga betting tips on match 2025-01-14 19:30.
[p]The winter break came at a poor time for Werder Bremen, whose four-match winning streak was ended on their return by a 4-2 defeat to Leipzig. Ole Werner’s men will be looking to get on the winning trail here as they pursue the European spots, but no matter the result, they’ll post their best points tally at the halfway point of Bundesliga season since the 2011/12 campaign![/p]

[p]The River Islanders proved they possess the power of recovery multiple times last year, since their only sequence of successive Bundesliga defeats in 2024 came in a run of four back in March. Bremen will be glad to be back on home soil as they look to avoid a repeat of that, as they’re unbeaten in five on their own turf (W3, D2), scoring 2+ goals in four of those games. [/p]

[p]Hoping to spoil the party will be Heidenheim, who after losing eight of their last nine competitive  matches in 2024 (D1), and picking up no points in their seven Bundesliga matches prior to the winter break, came roaring back to open 2025 with a 2-0 win over Union Berlin. That saw FCH put daylight between themselves and the automatic relegation places, though as they still occupy the relegation play-off position, Frank Schmidt’s men have plenty of work still to do.[/p]

[p]Confidence is unlikely to be too high as Heidenheim hit the road as they’ve lost their last six domestic away games. Recent meetings with Bremen certainly offer more hope, as FCH won last season’s corresponding fixture 2-1 to not only secure a winning league double, but register a third successive H2H win![/p]

[p]Players to watch: There’s often fireworks when Bremen’s Mitchell Weiser gets on the scoresheet, since 12 of his 17 Bundesliga goalscoring appearances have featured over 3.5 total match goals. Heidenheim will likely look to Marvin Pieringer for inspiration, as seven of his last 11 goals for any club have come on the road. [/p]

[p]Hot stat: Bremen have only lost two of their last 14 Bundesliga games when starting as the betting favourite (W9, D3).[/p]
