West Ham Everton prediction 2024-11-09

West Ham vs Everton prediction: ENGLAND: Premier League betting tips on match 2024-11-08 15:00.
[p]Two managers under pressure meet here as Julen Lopetegui’s West Ham take on Sean Dyche’s Everton. Lopetegui only arrived in the summer, but a string of poor results and even more disappointing performances – most recently a comprehensive 3-0 defeat against Nottingham Forest last week – could lead to the Spaniard’s early exit.[/p]

[p]The Hammers have now won just two of their last nine matches in all competitions (D2, L5), with their defensive issues especially prevalent in that dreadful run. They’ve conceded eight goals in just their last three games, and fixing that looks difficult here given that West Ham are in the midst of their worst-ever Premier League run for conceding goals on their own turf, as they’ve now failed to keep a clean sheet in 14 home league matches. [/p]

[p]Everton will hope to add to that misery as they aim to bounce back from their damaging 1-0 defeat to Southampton last weekend. That not only ended a five-game unbeaten run (W2, D3), but it prevented the Toffees from putting serious breathing space between themselves and the drop zone, consequently leading to calls for Dyche’s dismissal from supporters. [/p]

[p]A win would go some way toward silencing that criticism, while also helping Everton leapfrog their hosts who start the round two points clear in 14th. Yet, the Merseysiders rarely produce their best form in the capital, which is a point captured by the fact Everton have lost their past three games in London by an aggregate scoreline of 12-1!  Things appear unlikely to improve too, as Dyche’s travel-sick side have managed just one victory in 16 previous Premier League away matches (D5, L10). [/p]

[p]Players to watch: If anyone is to get West Ham back on track, then Jarrod Bowen should be the man as he has five previous direct goal contributions in his last six H2Hs (G3, A2). Beto could be in line to start given he scored against Fulham two weeks ago, then had a goal ruled out by VAR at Southampton. The Everton striker also missed a penalty, but then scored, in the last H2H against West Ham in March (L 3-1). [/p]

[p]Hot stat: Everton have won more Premier League away games against West Ham than any other side (13). [/p]
