Wolves Tottenham prediction 2023-11-11

Wolves vs Tottenham prediction: ENGLAND: Premier League betting tips on match 2023-11-10 12:30.
Gary O’Neil cut a frustrated character in the wake of Wolverhampton Wanderers’ 2-1 defeat at Sheffield United during the last round of matches, after a controversial penalty decision against his men prompted him to say he’d “given up on referees”. That is just one of a growing number of managerial outbursts about VAR in recent weeks in the Premier League (PL), and perhaps understandably so from O’Neil’s perspective as he watched his side’s four-game unbeaten run (W2, D2) come crashing down.

Despite Wolves’ improvement, that loss means they are just four places above the drop zone, but a healthy six-point gap heading into the round ensures they will remain on firm ground over the international break. Perhaps a visit from Tottenham Hotspur has come at the right time then, as the West Midlanders have won as many PL H2Hs in their last three meetings (W2, L1) as they did in 11 such matches prior (W2, D3, L6), although they haven’t recorded back-to-back wins in this fixture since 2010!

A concoction of five goals, five disallowed goals and two Spurs red cards served to end Tottenham’s incredible unbeaten start to the league season as they were ultimately defeated 4-1 by Chelsea on Monday (W8, D2, L1). Even so, Ange Postecoglou’s charges at least have an immediate chance to return to top spot, at least provisionally until their fellow challengers play.

Yet to lose on their PL travels in 2023/24 (W4, D2), Spurs are seeking a third straight top-flight away victory for the first time since a run of four in November 2020. Rarely doing things the easy way, Tottenham have picked up more away points from losing positions on their travels (W1, D2) than all but two sides in the division this campaign, although that may not be the case if they start poorly here as Molineux was one of only two PL grounds at which Spurs failed to score last term.

Players to watch: Hwang Hee-chan kept up his incredible form last weekend as his assist in Sheffield made it eight goal contributions across as many games for Wolves and South Korea (G5, A3). One of those assists was for Tottenham’s South Korean superstar Son Heung-min (PL: G8, A1) in the last international break, although he has played no club as often as Wolves without ever scoring!

Hot streak: Wolves have just one clean sheet from their last 14 PL matches, but have scored in each of their last ten.
