Young Boys Atalanta prediction 2024-11-26

Young Boys vs Atalanta prediction: EUROPE: Champions League – League phase betting tips on match 2024-11-25 20:00.
[p]It’s been a dreadful start to this UEFA Champions League (UCL) campaign for Young Boys, who are one of five sides to lose all four matches. The Swiss side did at least break their scoring duck against Shakhtar Donetsk on matchday four, but a 2-1 loss left them five points adrift of the qualification places and with serious work to do to salvage their European campaign.[/p]

[p]One of their previous defeats also came against Italian opposition, conceding in stoppage time to lose 1-0 to Inter on matchday three. That was Young Boys’ only defeat in four home matches however (W3), so they should retain some quiet confidence of breaking their continental duck here, especially considering the last H2H on this ground ended in a thrilling 3-3 draw that saw three goals scored on or beyond the 80th minute back in 2021.[/p]

[p]After a 2-0 win away to Stuttgart in their last UCL match, Atalanta extended their unbeaten record in the competition (W2, D2), while they remain one of only two teams – alongside fellow Italian side Inter – yet to concede a single goal in this UCL campaign! As a result, last season’s Europa League winners sit just a point adrift of the top-eight!  [/p]

[p]Manager Gian Piero Gasperini will probably welcome the fact that his side travel to Bern as both their UCL victories this season came on the road. La Dea have also won five consecutive road matches across all competitions, conceding just once in that run. That came in a 3-1 win over Parma at the weekend, a victory which gives them the chance to triumph in six away matches in succession for the first time since 2020. [/p]

[p]Players to watch: Kastriot Imeri has scored four of his last six club goals in the opening 30 minutes, including Young Boys’ strike in this UCL campaign. Mateo Retegui opened the scoring for Atalanta on Saturday, but five of his last seven club goals have arrived after the break.[/p]

[p]Hot stat: Each of Atalanta’s last six matches have produced less than 9.5 corners.[/p]
